Concussion Management Course: All junior high and high school coaches (paid and volunteer) are required to view the 20-minute NFHS online course titled, “Concussion in Sports: What You Need to Know” before the first official day of practice in the first sport they coach. The “Concussion in Sports” course link can be found under the Coaches tab at the top of the IGHSAU website.
All head coaches are required to view the Volleyball Coaches Rules Meeting prior to their first competition. Please click the link below to view the rules meeting.

Policy on Reporting Statistics (Updated May 11, 2017)
Member schools must use the online QuikStats website (www.quikstatsiowa.com) to report statistics for volleyball, basketball, swimming & diving, soccer, track & field, bowling, golf, tennis and softball.
Media Credential Information for State Volleyball

IGHSAU Policy on Requesting State Tournament Credentials: The Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union shall grant, at the discretion of management, media access credentials for its state championship events to radio, television, print and on-line media to those organizations or companies which routinely provide coverage during regular season play for either teams or individuals which are participating in the tournament, or which regularly offer general coverage of the sport. The number of credentials issued to each organization or company shall be held to the discretion of management. Private talent evaluators, scouting services, etc. shall not be granted access to areas of any venue restricted for media access.
