The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union is grateful to its partner organizations for their investment in and commitment to student-athletes and communities across the state of Iowa. This featured blog series will highlight our partners and showcase why they invest in the IGHSAU, how they are supporting Iowans during this difficult time and words of encouragement for the Iowa Girl. We will also share ways in which you, the reader, can in turn support these businesses and organizations in return as a way thank them for their investment in the IGHSAU.

This partnership is a great way for the firm to support Iowa's girls and student-athletes, coaches, and the educational institutions who work so hard at educating our youth – our future leaders and workforce.

How is Ahlers & Cooney, P.C. supporting Iowa communities during this time?

Our attorneys believe it's an honor to work with school boards, school administrators, teachers, and coaches throughout the state. We believe in the IGHSAU and the wonderful leadership and other skills Iowa girls gain from being involved in their schools' sports programs. Lessons learned in interscholastic athletics, like teamwork, self-discipline, and sportsmanship, will serve girls well throughout their lives and careers. Our hearts go out to those students who have been training so hard and have not yet competed this spring due to the virus.
