Welcome to the Iowa Girls State Swimming and Diving Meet. Please read the following information carefully.

Sessions:  There are three sessions to the State Swimming & Diving Meet. The State Swimming Preliminary Meet will be held at 11:00 Friday, November 15. The natatorium will be cleared of all spectators after the prelim meet. The state diving meet will take place on Friday, November 15 at 4:30 p.m. The State Swimming Finals (including all state qualifying relay events) will be held at noon on Saturday, November 16. Tickets are $15.00 for each session.

Tickets:  Ticketing for the State Swimming and Diving meet will be sold electronically through Bound. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 11. Tickets are $15 plus processing fees. Links to Bound will be posted Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. on the IGHSAU website. No cash will be accepted at the gate, but there will be card readers on site to process debit/credit cards on site.

Parking: Parking fees are including in your $15 admission ticket.  Parking lots will be open at 6:00 a.m. both Friday and Saturday. Please refer to the parking map by clicking here.

Spectators are not allowed to camp, set up tents or form lines before the start of Friday and Saturday's meets. All placeholders, such as chairs and tents, will be confiscated if found on the YMCA/YWCA grounds. No vehicles, including campers and RV's,  will be allowed in the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA parking lots overnight.

Spectators can begin lining up for admission into the natatorium 20 minutes prior to the admission gates opening. The timeline for lining up for all three sessions will be as follows:

Friday, November 15
11:00 a.m. State Prelim Meet – Spectators may begin lining up at 9:40 a.m. with the doors opening at 10:00 a.m.

4:30 p.m. - State Diving Meet - There will be a single line that opens at 3:30. Spectators may get in line at 3:10 a.m. for admittance. 

Saturday, November 16
Noon State Swimming Finals - Spectators may begin lining up at 10:40 a.m. with the doors opening at 11:00 a.m.

ALL TICKETS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION – Saving seats is prohibited and will be monitored by onsite security. Anyone that is caught saving seats will be removed from the natatorium.

Directions to the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA:  Driving directions to the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA can be viewed by clicking the Google Map page. Simply enter your starting point on Google Maps to get turn by turn directions to the State Meet site.

Entering the Natatorium: Spectators will enter through the natatorium main entrance on the north side of the YMCA/YWCA. 

FOOD & DRINK PROHIBITED INSIDE MARSHALLTOWN YMCA/YWCA: Fans are prohibited from bringing outside food and drink into the natatorium. This also includes travel mugs. Fans are also not permitted to bring food or drink to the competitors.

SIGNS PROHIBITED: Signs, banners and flowers are prohibited from being brought into the YMCA Natatorium. If you attempt to bring any of these items into the pool, they will be confiscated.

Entrance Stamps: Spectators will receive stamps when they allowed into the natatorium.  The stamp is your ticket and allows entrance in and out of the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA. There will be a different colored stamp for each session. A reminder to spectators that smoking is prohibited anywhere on the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA grounds.

STREAMING: There will be a free live stream of all three sessions of the State Swimming and Diving Meet available on the IGHSAU website. The links will be posted on the website Friday morning.

Programs will be on sale for $8. Programs sales are cashless.

FILMING: There is no special place designated for teams or fans to videotape from.  Paying spectators are not restricted from videotaping as long as the video equipment is hand-held.   Tripods are prohibited.
