QuikStats Course Ratings

It is imperative that coaches take time to click on the link provided for USGA and enter the proper course rating when entering stats into QuikStats.  If there is not a course rating for the course you played, please use the formula of taking one less than the par for a 9-hole meet or two less for an 18-hole meet. Please correct any ratings where you may have not entered the course rating correctly.

Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union is accepting applications for a sport administrator to oversee assigned junior high and high school sports. The sport administrator is responsible for all aspects of the assigned sport(s) regional and state-qualifying championships.  Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks as assigned within the IGHSAU.  This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Director or Executive Director.  This is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits.

Tentative Tennis Classification


Please review the following TENTATIVE classifications for the 2017 Girls Tennis Season. Class 2A is comprised of the largest 48 schools;  Class 1A the rest. Please double check your BEDs number and contact Craig Ihnen ( at the IGHSAU if there are any errors. Ties in enrollment will result in the FIRST alphabetical school moving into the larger class.

Golf Memo #1 – 4/4/17

Online Coaches’ Rules Meeting

All head varsity coaches are required to view the online coaches’ rules meeting by April 7th or prior to their first competition if it falls prior to April 7th. The rules meeting link can be found on the IGHSAU website in the Coaches’ Golf section. Any coach not in compliance with viewing the meeting is subject to sanctioning. The IGHSAU encourages coaches to view this with all assistant coaches and teams. Click here to view the Rules Meeting.
