Dates & Guidelines

The following dates and guidelines have been approved for the 2026-27 school year.

• First practice: Monday, March 22, 2027

• First game: Thursday, April 1, 2027

• Play dates: 17 matches

• Jamborees: One allowed per school (per level) between March 22nd and the first scheduled match. Max of 40 min half.

• Scrimmages: 2

• Regular Season Tournaments: each half can be no less than 30 minutes.

• Regional tournament dates:

  • Class 1A: May 25, May 27, June 1, June 3

  • Class 2A: May 27, June 1, June 3

  • Class 3A: May 27, June 1, June 3

• State tournament: June 7, 8, 10, 12

• Official tournament ball: Spalding TF-5000 or Spalding TF-5000 Pro (available Fall 2026)

• Bound reporting dates: Bound will be checked every Tuesday during the regular season

• Scholarship Dates: Eligibility resumes at 12:01 a.m. on April 21, 2027 (20-days starting with first competition date of April 1st.)

Individual and Team Limitations

There is no season match limitation for an individual player.

Individual player limitation may not exceed six halves in a calendar day.

No junior varsity teams are allowed in varsity tournaments.

No more than five matches may be played in one tournament, and no more than three matches in one day.

Regularly scheduled season matches may not be part of a tournament.
