Tennis

Tennis is one of the oldest sports sanctioned for Iowa high school girls (1956).

Players compete in singles and doubles play to determine a team champion. Players learn self-control and discipline as they work hard to master the sport, one they can continue to play well beyond high school. In addition to crowning state champions in team, singles and doubles play,  Iowa is the only state in the nation that hosts a state co-ed doubles tournament.
