Coralville, Iowa — In its first-ever State Volleyball appearance, Dunkerton outlasted BCLUW in a Class 1A quarterfinal Tuesday at Xtream Arena, winning 25–20, 25–17, 17–25, 22–25, 15–8.

Kylee Pexa powered the Raiders with 21 kills, while Taylor Kipp and Daisey Fetkether added 14 kills apiece; Dunkerton finished with nine total blocks and hit .241 as a team. Grace Farnsworth led BCLUW with 19 kills, and Olivia Peters added 15. 

Dunkerton (30–11) moves on to face top-ranked Saint Ansgar in Wednesday’s 1A semifinals at 6:00 p.m. BCLUW, last year’s 1A runners-up, bows out at 36–9.
