Weekly Training Tip #10 - Pin Press
Pin press is a bench variation that you can work strength through different range of motions. It is a useful tool to put a point of emphasis on any particular portion of the movement. Placing the pins at chest height develops strength at the bottom of the rep placing the body into an immediate concentric movement. Progressions should be applied at various heights with the pins. Each pin position translates to sport movements differently, this is a great and safe way to incorporate valuable bench press variables for strength a conditioning programming year-round.
