Dates & Guidelines
The following dates and guidelines are approved for the 2024-25 school year.
- First Body Composition Assessment: October 14, 2024
- Last Body Composition Assessment: January 30, 2025
- IWCOA Convention: October 19 (Des Moines)
- First practice: Monday, November 4, 2024
- First Competition: Monday, November 18, 2024
- Two Pound Growth Allowance: December 16th, 2024
- Regional Date: January 31st, 2025
- Regional Locations: TBD
- State tournament: February 6-7, 2025; Xtream Arena, Coralville.
Playing dates: 17 regular season competition dates with no more than being 15 varsity competition (9 for junior high)
Scrimmages: unlimited
Individual Limitations
Wrestlers are limited to six matches per day.
Academic Eligibility
Academic eligibility resumes at 12:01 a.m. on December 8, 2024
