Weekly Training Tip #33 - Split Squat Jump
The Split Squat Jump is a great plyometric exercise to develop the timing between contralateral leg and arm drive and single leg power. The exercise should be done with a controlled landing in between repetitions where the athlete doesn’t let their knee slam in to the ground. From a programming perspective it can either be programmed sub-maximally for time or for maximum height with fewer repetitions performed per set.
