The 2023 Iowa girls high school swimming and diving kicks off with the first practice on August 7 and first swim meets on August 21. Iowa has one class of swimming and diving.
Divers will qualify for the state meet at regional diving meets across the state on Thursday, November 2. Regional swim meets take place on November 4 at six sites across Iowa. The Iowa High School State Swimming and Diving Meet is held November 10-11 at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA. The Swimming Preliminary Meet and Diving Compeition takes place on Friday, November 10. State Swimming finals will take place on Saturday, November 11.
